About

I am Assistant Professor at the Department for Communication Sciences and Disorders, University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, USA.
My work is focused at functional imaging of the brain and in clinical neurology. For neuroimaging, I use functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and magnetoencephalography (MEG) to investigate the neural correlates of speech and language, of auditory processing and of swallowing. My neurological research involves primary headaches, in particular cluster headache, and phantom pain.
